Return & Cancellation Policy

Guidelines for ticket surrender and booking cancellation.

In the ferry booking industry, a "Return" refers to the cancellation/surrender of a booked ticket. The following rules apply based on operator guidelines.

1. Cancellation Windows

Cancellation charges are determined by how close to the departure time the request is made. Below is a standard indicative slab (subject to specific Operator rules):

Time Before Departure Cancellation Charge Refund Amount
48 Hours or more INR 250 - 500 per ticket Balance Refunded
24 - 48 Hours 50% of Ticket Value 50% Refunded
Less than 24 Hours 100% of Ticket Value No Refund

2. How to Return/Cancel a Ticket

Agents must log in to the DMT Dashboard, locate the booking ID under "My Bookings," and select "Cancel Ticket." The system will display the estimated refund amount before you confirm the cancellation.

3. Modification Policy

Rescheduling (Change of Date) is treated as a cancellation of the original ticket and issuance of a new ticket. Standard cancellation charges will apply unless waived by the operator for special circumstances.
