This Refund & Cancellation Policy – TicketKendra.com

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all railway ticket bookings processed through TicketKendra.com (“Platform”), operated by DMT Empire India Private Limited.

All ticket cancellations, refunds, modifications, and related processes shall be strictly governed by the prevailing rules, regulations, circulars, and policies issued by IRCTC and Indian Railways from time to time.

By using the platform, users, Registered Service Providers (RSPs), travel agents, retailers, and customers agree to comply with the following terms:

Railway Ticket Cancellation

  • Railway ticket cancellations are subject entirely to IRCTC cancellation rules and Indian Railways policies.
  • Cancellation charges, clerkage charges, Tatkal cancellation rules, dynamic fare rules, and refund eligibility shall be applicable as per IRCTC guidelines.
  • Certain bookings, including partially cancelled tickets, Tatkal tickets, premium quota tickets, or chart-prepared tickets, may attract partial or no refund as per IRCTC regulations.
  • TicketKendra.com does not independently determine refund eligibility or cancellation charges.

Refund Processing

  • Eligible refunds shall be processed only after confirmation from IRCTC and authorized railway booking systems.
  • Refunds, wherever applicable, shall be credited back to the original source of payment used during the booking transaction.
  • Refund processing timelines may vary depending upon IRCTC systems, banking networks, payment gateways, and settlement partners.
  • Refunds to the original payment method may take up to 7 working days or such additional time as required by banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions.

Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges may be non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • Convenience fees
  • Payment gateway charges
  • Service charges
  • Banking or transaction processing charges
  • Any applicable taxes or statutory deductions

Users are advised to review applicable charges carefully before confirming bookings.

Failed Transactions

  • In case of failed booking transactions where the amount is debited but the ticket is not generated, refund processing shall be subject to confirmation from payment gateways, banks, and IRCTC systems.
  • Such refunds are generally processed automatically through the original payment channel within the prescribed settlement timelines.
  • TicketKendra.com shall not be liable for delays caused by banking systems, payment gateways, network failures, or technical disruptions beyond reasonable control.

User Responsibility

Users and RSPs are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying passenger details before confirming bookings
  • Reviewing applicable cancellation and refund rules
  • Ensuring correctness of payment information
  • Maintaining transaction records for future reference

Incorrect passenger details or booking errors caused by the user may result in cancellation charges or non-refundable bookings as per IRCTC rules.

Limitation of Liability

TicketKendra.com acts solely as a railway ticket booking facilitation platform through authorized systems and shall not be held responsible for:

  • IRCTC server failures or downtime
  • Train cancellations, delays, or rescheduling
  • Changes in railway policies or refund rules
  • Delayed refunds caused by banks or payment gateways
  • Rejection of refunds by IRCTC or authorized systems

All refund decisions remain subject to IRCTC and Indian Railways policies.
